Back Home

Well we are back from Colorado. What an amazing trip! My brother and sister in-law had an action packed adventure in store for us from the second we arrived. We did everything from riding around on a Pontoon boat, to camping, to riding ATV’s through the beautiful mountains of Colorado.

I must say there is nothing like getting away from your everyday lifestyle and going on vacation (especially a place as peaceful and beautiful as Colorado). Here are a few shots from Robyn and Andy’s front porch!

Now that I am back, it is back to work. I am pretty pumped that it is now Football season! I don’t think I have mentioned this but I am a HUGE Philadelphia Eagles fan! I hope everyone has a great week, and a relaxing weekend.

08' Colorado Trip

I’m pretty pumped about our upcoming trip to Colorado. We leave bright and early Friday morning to spend 4 days with my brother and sister in law, Robyn and Andy. We went last year and it was one of the best times I have ever had. There is so much more to do out there. Last year we drove some 4 wheelers through the mountains, which was an awesome experience. We are defenitely doing that again! This time,we might take a night out of the trip and go camping, which is something I have never done and am really looking forward to.

It is August and it has already snowed in Colorado. This is a shot Andy took last week from his front porch.

This is a shot from the 4-wheeler ride we took last year. It is of my wife Anna overlooking an unbelievable view!

I will post some pictures from out trip next week when we return.

"The Freedmans"

I had the honor of being a groomsman in one of my best friend’s weddings this past May. I also took a role as one of the videographers. I just edited a short version of their ceremony for my Baltimore wedding video website, Charm City Video Productions.

I thought I’d share the final edit because this wedding was something special to me. Please see below. I hope everyone has a great week.

Retouch 2

I was going through some old family photos with my parents and came across this photo. It is a picture of my Grandmother (Nannie) and Grandfather (Pap-Pap) on their wedding day over 60 years ago! Since neither of them are with us anymore, I feel obligated to restore old photos like this one to get them to their top quality so they will be around and enjoyed for years to come.

I would love to help other people out doing the same thing to your old photos of family and friends! Send me a email for more information about these services offered at our Baltimore wedding video company, Charm City Video Productions!

The Piano Man

Several years ago my family and I saw Billy Joel in concert and it was the best concert I had ever been to. During that performance he said after this tour he was retiring. I felt lucky to be able to see one of his last shows. To my surprise as I was searching for a Father’s Day present I see that Billy Joel is on tour again! I quickly bought tickets for the show for my Dad and me.

He was playing in Hershey Park on Thursday. My Dad and I decided to make it an overnight trip so we could spend sometime together. I wasn’t sure how the show was going to go since it had been so long since I had seen him but this guy was as good if not better than before! He is 59 and still sings like he is 25. His show was full of energy and he really got the crowd involved. I have seen tons of shows from Paul McCartney to Wu Tang Clan and I have to say Billy Joel is the best by far.

The next day we got up early to play golf……. That’s another story in itself!

Charm City Video Productions PSA

I remember watching PSA's on Public Access television when I was younger. They always struck me as a little corny, so when my dad asked me to create one for his job a few years back, I was a little weary. My father has worked for the government as a firearms instructor for over 25 years. Growing up, he taught my sister and I the importance of gun safety, especially in the home.

He came to me with a premise, which was to stress the importance of keeping firearms locked up when there are children around. Aside from that he gave me a lot of creative freedom, which I appreciated. Posted below is the final video.

Retouch

I hope everyone had a good weekend! My wife and I had my parents over for a cookout on Sunday. My Mom brought over a picture of her Grandparents that had been sitting framed on a dresser for a few years. The sun did a number on the picture and cracked the photo paper, which bled a red color through the most important part of the picture…their faces! It looked like someone took a red pen and drew all over their pictures (not to mention all the other dust spot and scuff marks).

I wanted to help out because I know how much these old pictures mean to my Mom. I scanned the picture into my computer, and retouched the image as best I could. It took some time, but I think the final product looks A LOT better than the original. Below I have attached a before and after look at the picture of my Great Grandparents. I am glad I could help. Friday

www.charmcityvideo.com has begun to move up on the google listing, and I'm pretty happy about that. Once I'm able to do a few more weddings I'm anticipating a pretty busy summer season, and I can't wait!
I recently got married myself, in November of last year. My wife Anna and I decided to do a destination wedding, in Jamaica and it was the funnest time of our lives, so far at least. Family and friends flew in from Maryland, Pennsylvania, Colorado and South Carolina and it was relaxing and crazy couple of days. I think part of the reason that I'm so excited to film weddings is because I enjoyed mine so much. It's great to see two people as happy as my wife and I are.
The weather is awesome today, it actually feels like summer. I might just have to fill up the baby pool in the backyard and let my two American Bulldogs, Capone and Aida, enjoy some play time. I hope everyone has a good weekend, thank god it's friday!

Have a good one!
